	Barabhaig, newly built in the traditional Highland style, is the comfortable family home of David Collins & Emma Siedle-Collins offering a warm welcome in a superb position. We are right by the shore of Camuscross Bay, on Sleat, the southern peninsula of Skye, also known as the Garden of Skye and have wonderful views across the Sound of Sleat to Beinn Chapuill and Beinn Sgritheall on the mainland. As well as the beach there is a ‘flat’ walk along the road around the bay and, for the more adventurous, there is the wild unpopulated coastline beyond the house with views east to Knoydart and south towards Mallaig and Ardnamurchan.
The Isle Ornsay Hotel with it’s restaurant and lively bar is just over a mile away, and the restaurants of the Duisdale Hotel and the Michelin starred Kinloch Lodge Hotel are just a few miles north. We only have one double room (non smoking) which is at the front of the house looking out over the bay with an en-suite bathroom, colour TV and tea & coffee making facilities; a full cooked breakfast is served in our dining room, with French windows overlooking the garden and the bay. We are open all year and charge £60.00 per night for the room or £50.00 per night for a single occupancy, including breakfast.
	DIRECTIONS Turn right at the roundabout after the (free) Skye Bridge for Broadford. After 6 miles turn left on to the A851 for Isle Ornsay. Follow the A851 south for 7 miles and turn left for Isle Ornsay, then, after 1/4 mile turn right at a telephone box for Camuscross and follow the 'Art Studio' signs. After 1/2 mile take the left fork and follow the road along the shore to the end of the public road then continue along the un-surfaced road and over the small bridge - we are the first house after the bridge. If you get to Barabhaig Cottage you have gone about 100 yards past us! If you arrive via the ferry from Mallaig to Armadale follow the A851 north for about 8 miles then turn right for Isle Ornsay and continue as above.
